Teaching by Example

I cannot believe my babies, Allie and Abby, are one year old today!  They are too precious for words.  The Lord blessed our lives with 4 beautiful children, but sometimes in the day to day grind I forget what that means....harried and tired and trying to pursue order in a chaotic household I frantically place my children in bed, kisses goodnight and lights out.  Ahhhh, to breathe a moment and concentrate on getting organized for school a little voice whispers behind me, "momma, momma".  My immediate response is not so good, stern and pointed, "what are you doing down here Joshie?"  His response, "mommy, we forgot to pray."  Leave it to a child to bring to light the more important things in this life.  Upstairs we go to kneel by the bed and hear my 4 year old thank Jesus for our family and friends and the beautiful world that He created.  We must be doing something right....thank you for reminding me of what matters most in this life!
